Which product do I need?
If you need to rsh, rexec, or rcp from your Windows system into another system, use Winsock RCP/RSH/REXEC.  This includes the rsh, rcp, and rexec commands. These commands are often referred to as "clients".

If you want to be able to rsh or rcp into your Windows system from another system, use Winsock RSHD/NT if you are running Windows NT, 2000, or XP.  Use Winsock RSHD/95 if you are running Windows 95, 98, or ME.

If you want to be able to rexec into your Windows system from another system, use Winsock REXECD/NT if you are running Windows NT, 2000, or XP.  Use Winsock REXECD/95 if you are running Windows 95, 98, or ME.

If you are a software developer and you want to be able to rsh or rexec from your program into another system, use Winsock RCMD32.DLL.  If you want to be able to rcp from your program into another system, use Winsock RCP32.DLL.
